The "Essen Motor Show" is an international exhibition for tuning, motor sports, classic cars and motorcycles and Europe's leading exhibition for sporty vehicles. It takes place once a year at the fairgrounds of Essen. This is where car enthusiasts are meeting eachother who value temperament, power and individuality of their vehicles. At the same time these motorsport exhibition is the most important meeting of the racing scene and its fans. This results in "Essen Motor Show" being the most visited annual car show. The exhibition program is based on five thematic pillars: athletic production vehicles, motor sports, tuning, classic cars and motorcycles. Trends, new products and innovations of the automotive and motorcycle industry will be shown. For tuning fans a special area has been created which has evolved into a leading trade fair for the industry. Everything that has rank and name, will be represented at the fair, which marks the end of the season at the same time. Motorsport fans can experience the fascination of the car live and first hand. The visitors will be offered a huge own motor racing field and a motorsport arena for live driving demonstrations. In addition to tuning and motor sports at the "Essen Motor Show" the fun factor with show and party is crucial but also lovers of classic cars come at their expense and will find at the Classic and Prestige Salon something for every style and taste. Inspiring, innovative, fascinating, sporty and emotional - that is the unique feeling of the Show.

On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 10 days of the fair, from 29. November to 08. December 2019, about 500 exhibitors and 360000 visitors on the Essen Motor Show in Essen.

The Essen Motor Show takes place annually, and therefore for the 54th time previsibly in December 2023 in Essen.
